Yural: Fitness & Habits helps you understand your health and fitness context, plan healthier actions, build routines and goals, and review progress across your Apple devices.
This policy explains how Yural handles information in the app.
1. Summary
Yural is built around your control and privacy. Health data is sensitive, and Yural treats it with the highest care.
Yural works with Apple Health only if you give permission. You choose which Apple Health categories Yural can access. Yural uses that information to provide features such as metrics, scores, workout review, planning, recommendations, routines, goals, challenges, and progress feedback.
Yural does not require a Yural account. You can use the app locally on your Apple device without creating any additional account.
For multi-device use, including the macOS app, Yural uses your Apple iCloud account and Apple's secure iCloud infrastructure. No separate Yural cloud account, non-Apple sync backend, or third-party health data sharing is required.
Yural stores and accesses app data only on your Apple devices. If you turn on iCloud continuity, app data can sync through your Apple iCloud account across your own Apple devices.
Yural does not move your app data outside your Apple devices or your Apple iCloud environment.
Yural does not sell your personal information or use Apple Health data for third-party advertising.
2. Information You Choose To Provide
Yural may store information you create or set up in the app, such as:
Yural uses this information to provide app features, personalize your experience, and help you follow your plans and progress. This information stays in the app on your Apple devices, unless you choose to use iCloud continuity across your own Apple devices.
3. Apple Health Information
Yural can read selected Apple Health information only after you allow it in Apple's Health permission system.
Depending on the permissions you choose, Yural may use health and activity information such as workouts, steps, active energy, stand minutes, sleep, heart-related metrics, and other supported HealthKit data to provide:
You can change Apple Health permissions at any time in Apple settings. If you remove permission for a category, Yural will no longer be able to access that category from Apple Health.
Yural does not own your Apple Health data. You control access through Apple settings.
4. Local App Data
Yural is designed so the core experience can work in the app on your device. Health, activity, workout, habit, planning, and knowledge context is used to provide Yural's features inside the app.
Yural does not require a separate Yural cloud account or a non-Apple backend. Yural does not send your Apple Health data to an external health backend.
5. Optional iCloud Continuity
If you turn on multi-device continuity, Yural uses your Apple iCloud account to make app data available across your own iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
This may include app-created information such as routines, goals, challenges, user-defined metrics, preferences, notes, links, and other Yural app content.
iCloud continuity is optional. If you do not turn it on, app data stays on the device where it is stored. If you turn it on, app data remains within your Apple devices and Apple iCloud environment. Apple's terms and privacy practices also apply to your use of iCloud.
6. AI Features
Yural uses local Apple Foundation Models to provide explanations, summaries, recommendations, or visual chat responses inside the app.
These AI features run on device. Health and app context used for these features stays on your Apple devices or, if you turn on iCloud continuity, within your Apple iCloud environment.
Yural does not send health data to an external AI service.
